Butternut Grove is easily accessed via State Highway 17 soon to be renamed 86. Take exit 92 towards Crooks Falls, go left at the end of the exit. At the T section make a left , after the over path make a right following old route 17, Butternut Grove Campsites is on your right.
From New York City:
Take the George washington Bridge to Route 4 for about 6.8 miles. Then take route 17 North for about 14 miles until you see signs for I-287 N/NJ-17 N toward I-87 N/NY-17 N toward New York Thruway/Albany (I-287), Continue for another 14 miles. Take exit 16 for NY-17 W toward US-6/Harriman, stay on Route 17 for 73 miles until you reach Exit 92 towards Cooks Falls, go left at the end of the exit. At the T section make a left , after the over path make a right following old route 17, Butternut Grove Campsites is on your right.
From Binghamton:
